Provides administrative assistance and support on a variety of Human Resources initiatives and projects, with a focus on data and compensation. Acts as a Human Resources liaison to employees and management. Troubleshoots and resolves various human resources issues using current policies, plan documents and departmental guidelines.
- Require an Associate Degree in Business or related field. Relevant experience in Human Resources or Human Resources Information Systems may substitute on a year for year basis for the required degree.
- Require one (1) year of recent related experience, preferably in Human Resources with a similarly sized healthcare institution. A Bachelor's degree in related field can be considered in lieu of experience requirement on a year-for-year basis.
- Prefer demonstrated experience with Human Resources systems (PeopleSoft, Oracle, Lawson, etc.).
- Prefer demonstrated experience with Time and Attendance systems (API, Kronos, etc.).
- Prefer excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize time to meet deadlines.
- Prefer ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff, possess strong customer service, conflict resolution, and service recovery skills.
- Prefer strong analytical skills.
- Prefer ability to exercise sound discretionary judgment and effective decision-making and problem-solving skills.
