Compensation and Benefits Director manages the design, implementation, administration, communication, and ongoing evaluation of the organization's compensation and benefits programs, policies, and procedures. Ensures that compensation and benefits programs support the organization's business objectives and meet all legal requirements. Being a Compensation and Benefits Director develops and manages compensation and benefits budgets. Oversees compensation processes, including survey participation, job evaluation, salary structure development, base pay administration, incentive plan design and analysis. Additionally, Compensation and Benefits Director manages benefits planning and programs including health and welfare, retirement, and work life. May select and manage outsourced providers. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Compensation and Benefits Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Compensation and Benefits Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     In this role, you will…

    ·         Compiles and audits coverage transactions to ensure accurate and timely reporting to DOI fund departments.

    ·         Coordinates with internal departments to conduct research to resolve basic fund coverage discrepancies or account premium discrepancies.

    ·         Manages basic client inquiries from customers, distribution partners, or state DOIs to resolve any account discrepancies.

    ·         Coordinates with state DOIs regarding any business questions not previously defined.

    ·         Follows standard operating procedures and maintains the appropriate documentation and records for all work tasks. Perform basic account audits and analyses.

    ·         Process cash application, disbursements and write offs.

    ·         Assists others in the organization with requirements, procedures, and documentation related to assigned work tasks.

    ·         Support special projects as assigned by manager.

    ·         Perform other duties as assigned.

    We are looking for candidates with…

    ·         Associate Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business.

    ·         2 years of Insurance Industry experience.

    ·         2 years of Accounts Receivable Management experience.

    ·         Customer service experience preferred. 

    ·         Ability to maintain complete confidentiality and discretion in business relationships with customers and agents. 

    ·         Motivated, adaptive and able to manage multiple priorities.

    ·         Ability to deal effectively and collaborate with all employees and external business contacts while conveying a positive, service oriented attitude.

    ·         Good communication skills (interpersonal, written and electronically).

    ·         High attention to detail with a quality focus.

    ·         Ability to work well in a team environment.

    ·         Basic analytical and audit experience.

    ·         Basic experience in Excel required.
