    Berkshire Hathaway GUARD Insurance Companies is currently seeking an intern to support the Workers' Compensation Claims department. As an intern you will be learning key fundamental business skills. You will be working in an incredibly fast moving business, and have the opportunity to make valuable contributions. 

    Responsibilities

    As an intern you will assist with the following projects:

    • Subpoena objections
    • Updating our database pertaining to legal fields
    • Obtaining wages and AWW calculations
    • Research state data for training

    Qualifications

    • Student currently pursuing a degree in English, Criminal Justice or Pre-Law preferred
    • Above average oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
    • Self-starter who has ability to work independently
    • Experience with MS Excel and Power-Point
    • Able to work this summber Monday-Friday from 8am-4:30pm
