Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Compliance Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our organization adheres to all regulatory requirements and internal policies. This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity of our operations, particularly in relation to FMSCA regulations and quality assurance processes. The Compliance Manager will work closely with various departments to develop, implement, and monitor compliance programs that align with industry standards. Review all claims and respond to customers, insurance agents and attorneies. You will review all insurance policies, customer and carrier packets, OSDRs and respond to all claims. Will have 2-3 employees in your department to help with day to day tasks and data entry. Help review and vet all carriers and our carrier set up procedures.

Duties

• Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to FMSA regulations and other applicable laws.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments of compliance programs to identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all projects meet compliance standards throughout their lifecycle, particularly during clinical trials.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance-related matters, fostering a culture of accountability and ethical behavior.
• Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to keep the organization informed about potential impacts on operations.
• Prepare reports on compliance activities and present findings to senior management, highlighting risks and recommendations for mitigation.
• Manage documentation related to compliance activities, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for audits or inspections.

Experience

• Proven experience in compliance management within the transportation industry is preferred.
• Strong understanding of quality assurance processes and project management principles.
• Familiarity with FMSCA regulations.
• Keep all our certifications up to date
• Excellent research skills with the ability to analyze complex regulatory requirements effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey compliance concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment, demonstrating strong leadership capabilities.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $91,996.00 per year
