The Director of Compliance is responsible for overseeing and managing the agency’s compliance program as well as overseeing compliance staff. Serves as the agency HIPAA Privacy Officer. Coordinates program and agency compliance with all applicable NYS regulations, NYS and Federal laws. Facilitate the Department’s role as a resource for staff and management. Coordinates the agency’s incident management program and serves as staff to the agency Incident Review Committee. Serves as staff to the agency Compliance committee. Provides compliance and privacy training to program staff, management, affected individuals, and the Board.
