Position Overview:
As the General Engineering Foreman, you will play a key role in coordinating and supervising various construction activities on-site. You will be responsible for managing crews, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and maintaining project quality standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with GPS lasers, paving, grading, concrete work, and crew management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate day-to-day construction activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and task assignment.
• Manage and lead construction crews to ensure efficient and effective project execution.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
• Monitor project progress and quality standards, making adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines and specifications.
• Utilize GPS lasers and other relevant technology for accurate surveying and grading.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve issues and ensure smooth project flow.
• Provide training and guidance to crew members to enhance their skills and performance.
• Maintain proper documentation, including daily reports, timecards, and project records.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, inspectors, and team members, to address concerns and ensure project success.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Foreman or similar role in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge and proficiency in GPS lasers, paving, grading, and concrete work.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage construction crews effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Solid understanding of safety regulations and best practices in construction.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Experience working on prevailing wage jobs is preferred.
• Flexibility to work full-time hours and occasional overtime as needed.
