STATEMENT OF WORK
Task Field Coordination Services
Implementation
A. Facilitate construction parking, site logistics and Owner’s needs / concerns regarding use of premises.
B. Daily observations and reporting as deemed necessary to endeavor to protect the Owner in regards to compliance with contract documents, quality of construction, safety related to adjacent activities, and site cleanliness.
C. Verify contractor compliance with quality control requirements, including all associated pre-installation meetings and documentation.
D. Coordination of any required pre-pour, in-wall, and above ceiling and final inspections with Owner’s inspection personnel.
E. Confirmation of any required governmental inspections.
F. Facilitate coordination among any owner owner-contracted parties onsite so work on those contracts may be carried out smoothly without interference or delay.
G. Assist Project Manager in reviewing contractor pay applications for percentage complete and material invoices for verification of fixed items vs. expendables.
H. Regularly walk the project and observe work being put into place. Note any work or materials not compliant with the contract documents and issue an Observation Report to document any deficiency.
Observation Reports should contain photos of the deficiency, and a detail or spec section showing / explaining the correct installation material.
I. Coordinate shut-downs between the contractors and facilities / users.
J. Verify as-builts are consistently up-to-date and reviewed as part of the pay application review process.
K. Review all RFI’s, RFI responses, and COR’s for scope, constructability, schedule impact and quality concerns.
L. Monitor construction progress in relation to Contractor’s schedule and report any noted deficiencies to Project Manager, contractor, Owner and architect if required.
M. Review contractors’ superintendent’s daily reports.
N. Monitor erosion control methods to ensure readiness for impending weather events.
O. Coordinate punch list activities with the owner and verify completion by the contractor.
P. Facilitate occupancy of the project by the user.
Q. Assist Project Manager, if required, with coordination of one year inspection with contractor.
