Job Summary and Qualifications

The Supervisor, Core Lab Quality supervises a variety of day-to-day operational functions of the chemistry section and manages the point-of-care testing program. This position provides technical bench work as needed to support workload demands.

What qualifications you will need:

• Minimum of 5 years of hospital laboratory experience in Chemistry and Point-of-Care testing including methodological details and quality control
• Excellent interpersonal skills that reflect a positive attitude and a sense of commitment to our customers, employees, and community
• Knowledge of medical terminology

• Maintains active Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license in the State of California
• Comprehensive knowledge of laboratory principles, practices, and techniques.
• Working knowledge of laboratory information systems
• Working knowledge of quality assurance/performance improvement programs
• Ability to work independently
• Strong oral and writing skills that communicate and motivate effectively
• Ability to identify and prioritize issues and concerns, generate and analyze feasible solutions, and choose and implement an optimal course of action.
• Strong interpersonal skills that reflect a positive attitude and a sense of commitment to our employees, work associates and community
• Bachelor's Degree
