Job Title: Client Account Manager
Department: Account Management
Reports To: VP of Sales / COO
Summary:
As an Account Manager you will be working alongside the sales team to help ensure timely and accurate implementation of new group accounts while also maintaining the day-to-day management of assigned broker and agent accounts. Activities might include, but are not limited to, handling client questions and requests, updating marketing materials, coverage reviews, broker outreach, and escalated member inquiries.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Helps to assure timely and accurate implementation of group account holders.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for clients.
- Maintains workflow and assist with sales projects.
- Prepares proposal renewals, implementation materials and contracts for all new and existing groups.
- Responsible for approximately 20-30 groups.
- Send out proposals to carriers and help with formatting spreadsheets.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Attend phone/virtual meetings as necessary.
- Portal maintenance and training: Plan-Watch, CAS, CEEM enrollments, HSA, Implementations, building or updating plan documents, DPC census reports and payments, FSA, ASA reviews.
- Renewals: Handling requests and submitting reports to stoploss carriers. Oversee implementation for new and renewing groups (contracts, vendor implementation, id cards).
- Reporting: Spec, aggregate, plan performances (upon request).
- Supporting customer service agents by troubleshooting escalated inquiries (as necessary).
- Reviews: ASA, Summary plan documents, administrative contracts (proofing prior to sending to clients for signatures), SPD generations and reviews.
- Meetings: Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly (client dependent) meetings to check-in/troubleshoot any open items.
- Misc.: Process Cigna P4P Claims/remittances, setup new groups, update groups with vendor changes on portals, provide backup assistance for eligibility (exporting files to vendors, troubleshooting vendor data issues, releasing member id cards), etc.
- Represents and promotes firm’s vision and values.
Experience / Attributes:
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
· Organization and prioritization skills necessary.
· Works collegially and participates with team.
· Good project management skills.
· Understands sales planning and reporting.
· BA/BS in marketing, sales, business or related field (preferred).
· Demonstrated creativity knowledge of the insurance or related industry, products and services.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
