Job Description:

Reporting to the CEO, the Account Manager will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the wholesale presence for Aruna, leveraging cannabis knowledge, customer engagement, and market experience to fully represent Aruna as a brand in the Massachusetts cannabis space and play an integral role in growing with the company in this emerging industry.

Responsibilities Include:

• Generate, follow-up with, and close new accounts to maximize lead conversion
• Leverage contacts among buyers and product procurement professionals to establish and maintain ongoing relationships with Massachusetts cannabis retailers currently carrying, or seeking to carry, Aruna products and brands
• Provide retailer engagement and support for Aruna partner retailers, including pop-ups and other brand events in coordination with the Director of Marketing and Brand Development.
• Coordinate order cadence and delivery scheduling with partner retailers to ensure timely delivery of products that meet the schedule and timelines of wholesale clients.
• Maintain working knowledge of cannabis products, pricing, sales initiatives, and promotional strategies.
• Work with other process stakeholders to review and revise targets and key performance indicators on a quarterly basis.

Minimal Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Massachusetts cannabis space in a wholesale/procurement role.
• Must pass a CORI background check and be willing to submit personal information to become a licensed state agent.
• Able to adapt to changing priorities.
• Must possess strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to interact with team members, senior support personnel, and wholesale clients and prospective customers.
• Able to initiate and follow through on work independently.
• Able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Decisive, with the ability to exercise independent judgment.

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

• Able to sit, squat, bend, and kneel repetitively throughout the workday.
• Able and willing to work in the following conditions:
• General office or remote working environment
• Extended computer usage, phone usage, including teleconferences
• Able to drive long periods and travel for work

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
