    Due to our continued growth and success, we are on the search for a skilled Controller to join our team.

    WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

    This role will be responsible for a wide variety of job functions with responsibilities stretching into Accounting, Controls, and Strategic Analysis of the company's financials. You will be working with a team of talented business professionals focused on meeting the needs of customers to solve a wide variety of engineering and equipment needs.

    • Lead the Accounting department with a specific focus on maintaining the strong financial health of the company
    • Provide financial information to management by researching, analyzing accounting data, and preparing reports
    • Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information
    • Document financial transactions by entering account information
    • Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting data
    • Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents
    • Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
    • Comply with all federal, state, and local financial legal requirements
    • Maintain financial security by following internal controls
    • Initiate and manage financial and accounting software used by the company
    • Oversee AP/AR processes
    • Bank deposit, bank and credit card reconciliation
    • Investigate and apply for government grant programs
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related degree
    • 5 years of Accounting Experience
    • CPA licensure preferred but not required
    • Competency in Accounting software and Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
    • Effective oral and written communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills
    • A high level of attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Ability to work independently/self-directed and as a member of a team
    • Strong work ethic and integrity
    • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
    • Dedication to providing great customer service
    • Ability to quickly adapt to change and work with diverse customers
