May have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. In addition, Cosmetologist relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. Responsibilities:
- Provide a wide range of hair and beauty services to clients, including haircuts, styling, coloring, and treatments.
- Offer advice and recommendations to clients on hair care, styling techniques, and product selection.
- Conduct consultations with clients to determine their desired look and style.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques with curly / different textures of hair.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station.
- Build and maintain a loyal client base through excellent customer service and personalized attention.
- Utilize retail sales skills to recommend and sell hair care products to clients.
- Upsell additional services or treatments to enhance the client's experience.
Requirements:
- Valid cosmetology license in the state of Utah
- Proficiency in color theory and application techniques.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Knowledge of retail sales techniques to promote and sell hair care products.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other stylists.

Pay: $1.00 - $700.00 per week
