Applications are being accepted for the position of Accounting Assistant. Duties require adding support to the Accounting Department.

Work Week: M-F 7:30am – 4:00pm (or as required to complete task).

Salary Plan/Classification B.O.E. / Non-Exempt

The Accounting Assistant will provide clerical, bookkeeping, and accounting support with the accounting functions of the Wiregrass Rehabilitation Center and assist the accountant with daily functions assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A completed employment application to include, but not limited to, detailed description of duties, month and year, and complete addresses on each current/previous job listed.
• High School Diploma, Business College, or other post-secondary degree.
• Three years’ experience in related field with general knowledge of office procedures and computer equipment.
• Working knowledge of MS Office, payroll, A/P, A/R, general accounting.

NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENT:

• Must meet WRC’s employment physical standards, which include drug/alcohol testing and must pass criminal background check.
• Must have valid driver’s license and be insurable with WRC insurance carrier.
