Cost Accounting Manager ensures that costs for the company's products and services are allocated according to corporate procedures and in compliance financial accounting standards. Summary/Objectives
This position is a key role in the accounting/finance department as well as the business
operations at large. As Accounting Manager, your responsibilities will include overseeing end-to-end accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, balance sheet
reconciliations, contributing to improvements with procedures and controls, as well as
improvised projects and requests as and when they come up.
Essential Functions

● Interface with outside auditors and tax preparers on behalf of the corporation;
● Procure, input, and aggregate financial information for bookkeeping purposes;
● Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements;
● Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations;
● Assist with monitoring and reporting on adherence to financial controls and guidelines;
● Monitor company budgeting goals and assist with forecasting and monitoring;
● Maximize payroll efficiency by ensuring process adherence;
● Run point on document production, data aggregation, and communication with 3rd
parties for annual tax preparation and submission;
● Assist with compiling and providing data to support short- and long-term operational
strategies;
● Compile and provide accurate data to depict current economic landscape;
● Report on Operations, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable KPIs;
● Assist in monitoring performance of various initiatives (promos, sales contests, etc.);
● Assist with conducting operational audits to confirm adherence to all pricing agreements (vendors, subcontractors, rebates, etc.);
● Assist with all business compliance functions, including procuring and filing relevant
documentation, and ensuring information is reported accurately to relevant parties;
● Work directly with Operations team to develop and maintain tools such as pricing databases;
● Other duties as assigned.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday. Evening and weekend work may be required.
Required/Preferred Education and Experience
● 5 years of experience in Accounting or related field
● Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
● Comprehensive understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principle
● Advanced excel skills
● Construction industry experience a plus
● Experience with Sage Intacct a plus
● Supervisory experience a plus
● Data management and analysis skills
