Cost Accounting Manager ensures that costs for the company's products and services are allocated according to corporate procedures and in compliance financial accounting standards. Oversees the cost control systems, manages and interprets cost audits, and prepares cost accounting reports for presentation to top management. SUMMARY
This position is responsible for providing clerical, bookkeeping, and simple financial analysis support for the Finance Organization in accordance with established practices and procedures

Cost Accounting:
The position is a full-time position (40 hours per week) and will report directly to the Cost Accounting Supervisor for tasks related to that department.
After all applicable training has been provided to the incumbent, he/she will be expected to work independently on routine tasks and be able to receive and carry out specific instructions on new assignments and projects. The Intern should be proactive in asking for instruction when needed to clarify an assignment or seek help with a challenging topic. Often, he/she will have to multi-task to meet assigned deadlines and changing demands and should seek guidance on prioritization of duties as needed. Upon completion of an assigned task, it will be reviewed and evaluated by the respective department supervisor (or manager in specific circumstances) for accuracy, completeness, overall performance, modifications, follow-up, and suggestions for improvement (if any) with the incumbent.
