Updates costs as necessary based on new information and project scope changes. Additionally, Cost Estimation Engineer coordinates with project management, engineering, procurement and other project stakeholders. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. 2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in the manufacturing industry. 3. Proven experience in process improvement and product development. 4. Solid understanding and application of lean manufacturing principles. 5. Demonstrated skills in mechanical engineering and project management. 6. Experience with Six Sigma methodologies. 7. Knowledge of industrial engineering principles and practices. 8.
