    Medical Assistant (North End Counseling)

    Responsible for clinical duties such as taking vital signs, giving injections, performing simple diagnostic tests, collecting specimens, sterilizing and cleaning equipment, ordering supplies, patient education, quality care measures, updating EMR, and data entry to record meaningful use data. 


    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Certified or registered as a Medical Assistant
    • Must have previous experience in office or outpatient ambulatory care
    • Must demonstrate strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills, and be able to work well as a member of a team
    • Strong computer skills and ability to maintain confidentiality is required
    • Current BLS certification
    • Current CPR certification
    • Minimum qualification, graduate of accredited Medical Assistant Program

    Qualifications:
