Job Overview:

The Sale Associate (Herbtender) position at our Voerman location maintains both the Haskill Creek Retail side and also the Cannabis Counter. It is a seasonal position that is from April - October with the potential to be year round for the right fit. Haskill Creek and Cannabis Counter are sister companies that specialize in natural wellness alternatives. We also have an event space where we host our own events with food trucks & live music, but also offer it as a private event space to be rented out.

We are seeking for additions to our team this summer that are motivated, self efficient, reliable and share the same passion of providing our community with the best all natural alternatives to health care.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate with all customers upcoming deals and events.
• Develop strong relationships with customers and look for opportunities to further expand their products.
• Take full advantage of company training sessions and literature to remain current with product offerings.
• Assist with events as needed with set up/break down.
• Greet customers and assist them in finding the right products
• Provide product information and answer any questions or concerns
• Recommend additional items to enhance the customer's purchase
• Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system
• Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
• Monitor inventory levels and restock merchandise as needed
• Assist with visual merchandising to create an attractive store environment
• Meet or exceed sales goals on a regular basis

Qualifications:

• Impeccable customer service skills.
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must possess and wear cannabis agent badge “worker permit” at all times. If you do not hold one you have 30 days to obtain one once you are hired.
• Previous retail sales experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of retail math and basic math skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to handle cash handling and operate a cash register
• Organizational skills to maintain inventory and keep the sales floor tidy
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week
