We are now looking for an Independent Contractor Driver to join us on a contractual basis.

Requirements:

As an Independent Contractor Driver for Baystate Courier, you will ensure the prompt and secure delivery of packages to our clients.

Responsibilities:

- Safe and efficient package delivery across varied destinations, selecting optimal routes based on the provided information.

- Effective communication with Baystate Courier and customers for delivery confirmations or addressing any queries.

- Maintenance of precise delivery records and ensuring your vehicle meets operational standards for delivery tasks.

- Adherence to all driving and delivery-related laws and regulations.

Skills and Requirements:

- Operating as a sole proprietorship.

- Clean driving record with no criminal background.

- Ownership of a reliable vehicle suitable for deliveries and valid vehicle insurance.

- Excellent verbal communication skills, for clear interactions with customers and the company.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in delivery and record-keeping.

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

- Good time management skills to ensure efficient and timely deliveries.

- Physically fit, capable of lifting and carrying packages up to a certain weight limit.

- Previous experience in courier or delivery services preferred (please specify the duration).

Compensation:

- Competitive payment on a per-job basis.
