Responsible for day-to-day operations in one or more areas, including card issuance, interchange processes, and merchant deposit processing. Being a Credit Card Operations Supervisor trains credit card operations staff and assists with the development and implementation of credit card operations and policies. Responds to inquiries from customers and banks regarding operational issues. Additionally, Credit Card Operations Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Credit Card Operations Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision.
