Looking for a part time medical assistant in a busy medical office.

2-3 days per week, approximately 15-30 hours depending on the week.

Work hours start at 8:30 am and conclude at completion of tasks (typically at 6:00- 6:30 pm).

We are willing to train an individual displaying the qualities and ability to complete the tasks listed below.

Candidate must be energetic, pleasant, a team player, detail oriented, honest, and orderly.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Calling patients the business day prior to their appointments to confirm and remind them of their appointments.
• Maintaining and displaying a professional, friendly and pleasant attitude to both patients and the other staff, on the telephone and in person.
• Restocking treatment rooms and office areas with appropriate supplies
• Informing office manager when supplies are needed
• Helping patients into the treatment rooms and taking their vitals
• Using computer and EHR software to update patients' charts with necessary information. (Social history, family history, past medical history, surgical history, medications, etc.).
• Displaying accuracy and attention to detail in all work.
• Sterilizing tools and instruments at the end of the day using the autoclave.
• Maintaining a clean and orderly office and work environment. (Refilling soap and paper towels, emptying all trash, watering plants and vacuuming office.).
• Maintaining clean, sanitary and orderly treatments rooms. (Vacuuming after every patient and wiping down chairs, tables and dremel, etc. with sterilizing wipes).
• Employee will be trained as a vascular technician and perform vascular studies as needed.
• Employee will also be trained to measure orthopedic shoes for patients.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
