SUMMARY
The Customer Account Manager holds a very important role within the Company. They act as the liaison between all internal departments and our external customers. You will be expected to provide the highest level of customer service possible. This will include problem solving, beginning to end follow up, prompt responses, and taking ownership of customer inquiries and problems. Providing accurate, timely, and comprehensive information to all parties is essential. This position requires the ability to receive, review and interpret daily and weekly build forecasts.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
- Must be able to troubleshoot process issues that would prevent on time delivery, including manufacturing process, material issues and engineering challenges.
- Establish an excellent relationship with our customers.
- Be available to receive, return, and answer inquiries/concerns promptly.
- Manage Request for Quote (RFQ) activities.
- Ensure all information and documentation needed for the quote has been obtained from the customer (drawings, annual usage, pricing targets, etc.).
- Present the quote and any assumptions made to the customer by the due date they provide. Coordinate revision changes with our customers.
- Ensure we have received documentation and information to successfully implement the change.
- Make inquiries as to cause for change, deviations or waivers needed to process inventory, and volume changes.
- Manage purchase orders from our customers.
- Create new part numbers and enter the PO into our ERP system.
- Ensure all sales orders contain correct sales prices.
- Update sales orders and pricing tables when sales prices change.
- Provide Return Material Authorizations (RMA’s) to our customers.
- Coordinate the return with both the customer and the quality department.
- Assist in auditing sales prices, researching slow moving finished good inventory, and following up on customer programs where the order quantities are lower or higher than quoted.
- Participates in projects (i.e. continuous improvement. NPI and efficiencies).
- Prepares Coordinate EDI (Electronic Data Interchange).
- Train Customer Service Administrator.
- Back-up in Strategic Account Manager absence.
- May have responsibility for Strategic Account.
- Complete NAFTA certificates for customers as necessary Performs other duties as assigned by management.
- Other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Intermediate computer skills.
- Ability to analyze data in Excel using pivot tables, look-up formulas etc.
- Experience using an ERP system.
- Strong communication (written and oral) skills with both internal and external customers.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
- Solid math skills-understanding of margins and margin dollars.
- Strong problem-solving ability.
- Great organizational skills Identifies and presents areas where we can improve. service/processes
- 5 years customer service or equivalent experience.
- Syteline skills a plus (ERP System).
- Knowledge of manufacturing industry helpful.
- EDI experience helpful.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,819.33 per year
