Customer Care, Operator and Driver Job Description
This is a very important position on our team. You will be meeting clients and receiving deceased pets, consoling them in a very sad time, explaining the process to them and operating the aquamation machine and processing all of our clients’ pets. You will be the compassionate person they will trust and with appreciation, understanding the impact that pets make in family’s lives.
You are:

· Highly organized person who has held previous office/administration positions and been great at them.
· Reliable, trustworthy and have a strong worth ethic and commitment to the role you are filling.
· Offer friendly, compassionate, and conscientious customer service to our clients during some of the most difficult moments in their lives
· Comfortable with working with deceased pets and continuing to treat them with the utmost respect as they go through our process.
· Willing to continue working with organized systems processes to continue our efficiency
· Able to lift at least 50lbs
· You work well under pressure and on a tight time schedule. And be patient with very upset families.
· You are flexible with last minute changes in the schedule. We never know when a family is going to call for help.
· You do everything, you can to provide them immediate service.

Candidate Duties
Your role as an Operator and Driver will report directly to the Manager at Gentle Pet Crossing and will involve many tasks including but not limited to:
Operator:
· Complete the aquamation process for all clients
· Keep the processing room clean and organized
· Make a list of supplies as needed
· Completing the packages for clients
· Help maintain the living wall and plants on premises
· Help keep our whole facility clean and organized
· Do laundry as needed (blankets and towels)
Driver:
· Picking up deceased pets from homes or clinics
· Delivering pet urns to clinics and client’s homes
· Being a positive representative of Gentle Pet Crossing to all clients and clinics.
· Keeping the inside or our vehicles clean and organized while making sure they are maintained with all supplies needed.
· Monitoring and managing the quality of our product/service.
· Recognizing, reporting and assisting to resolve operating/safety issues or concerns
· Meeting clients at our sanctuaries to receive/pick up their lost loved ones
