    The Analytics and Insights Strategist is responsible for consumer, customer, and user insights as well as analyzing the relationship between marketing performance and business impact. The role of Strategist, Analytics & Insights, reports to the Director, Marketing Intelligence and is specific to user behavioral and attitudinal insights across Buckle.com, our native mobile app, and other marketplaces such as Instagram or TikTok with product integration.

     

    Beyond the Marketing Department, the Strategist, Analytics & Insights role will interface with business partners who seek to better understand our consumer, customer, and user, what they do and how they feel about it, across digital channels and marketplaces.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Demonstrate expertise with best-in-class understanding and ownership of Google Analytics or other analytics platform to effectively measure, analyze, and share actionable insights from accurate reporting.

    • Act as key stakeholder in conversion rate optimization (CRO) by working with ecommerce and customer experience teams.

    • Provide datapoints and input to develop and maintain a structured testing roadmap to continuously improve site and digital marketing performance. 

    • Work with digital and technology partners to identify and standardize digital tagging needs to appropriately track/analyze performance.

    • Build analysis, data visualizations, and reporting that provides key insights required for decision making in the organization.

    • Identify and execute opportunities to split test features and designs to improve overall website performance while tracking key KPIs for reporting needs.

    • Turn relevant complex data into information to be shared with the business alongside meaningful insights that can drive action in the organization.

    • Collaborate across teams to create recommendations on how to act on insights impacting website visitation and conversion.

    • Embrace iterative, agile design-thinking ways of working to increase collaboration and agility within the Marketing Intelligence discipline, Buckle Strategy Lab practice, and Marketing Department as a whole.

    • Fulfill mission statement by performing job duties with a high level of customer service while contributing to a positive team spirit. 

    • Special projects and other duties as assigned.

    Supervisory Responsibilities 

    This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

    Education and/or Experience 

    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in marketing, business, or similar discipline and two to four years of experience in marketing analytics, preferably for a high-volume retailer; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in the retail vertical working with fashion, lifestyle or apparel brands with complex stakeholder ecosystems and business seasonality highly desired.
