Customer Service Associate - The Lingle Corporation
Formerly known as: Cashier
Purpose:
The customer service associate ensures that each customer that enters retail locations are greeted and acknowledged as well as accurately processing sales and payments for goods/services and provide receipts to customers.
Job Responsibilities:

Ensure daily store conditions are aligned with the Lingle Company policy and customer expectations. Associates must follow compliance with all City, State, and Federal requirements.

Assist customers where possible and provide answers to product and payment-related queries

Refer customers to the right person to answer queries and deal with any problems

Accurately process sales using cash registers, scanners, or equipment

Accept cash, checks, and bankcards for payment

Process payments according to Lingle Corporation procedure, providing change for cash payments and issuing receipts for all payments received. Process returns and redeem food stamps and coupons.

Maintain accurate record of transactions, all while bagging merchandise.

May be required to assist in other areas, such as shelf stocking, product display, pricing, and clean-up

Maintain a neat, tidy, and orderly work area
