Data Electronic Devices, Inc., an Emerald Technologies company, has an exciting opportunity for a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to join our team! The Production Supervisor is responsible for providing the necessary leadership to maintain the SMT machines and production lines to meet product schedules on a timely basis; product quality; yield efficiencies; cycle efficiencies; set-up completion; plan adherence and housekeeping of assigned area. The Production Supervisor is responsible for developing a team approach to continuous improvement in the production area and will have ultimate accountability for the quality and delivery performance of the production team.

Responsibilities of the 2nd Shift Production Supervisor:
- Scheduling of direct labor resources to ensure production schedules are met.
- Confirm proper utilization of capital equipment to ensure efficiency and quality of work performed meets standards.
- Interface with all support functions of the organization to insure effective adequate responses to issues.
- Ensure all personnel are trained adequately to perform functions within the area.
- Hire and train both full-time and temporary employees as required to support production requirements.
- Manage all attendance, formal problem solving and disciplinary processes for employees reporting to the position.
- Ensure that all safety regulations, including regulatory controls, are carefully followed as they pertain to the production area and implement them after jurisdiction.
- Confirms that maintenance on machines and equipment is performed to meet department standards.

Qualifications of the 2nd Shift Production Supervisor:
- High school diploma, or equivalent, 5 years’ experience in electronic manufacturing
- 1 - 3 years supervisory experience
- Knowledge of SMT machines, thru-hold assembly and solder processes.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills in MS Office, including Word and Excel. Knowledge of manufacturing Monitoring and MRP Systems.
- Must be a good communicator.
- Must always maintain a mature and professional demeanor.
