Our rapidly growing law practice is seeking a full-time legal intake specialist to join our team! You’ll survey prospective clients and empathize with them on the details of their cases, manage new client onboarding and data entry, and help our lawyers book and manage their appointments. We’ll provide the training and resources to help you flourish in your role on a tight-knit, supportive, and passionate legal team. • Screen incoming potential client phone calls to make sure the case falls within the scope of the firm, while helping the caller feel heard and understood
• Book consultations for prospective clients with our lawyers to expand our caseload and ensure meeting schedules are accurate
• Collect paperwork and enter data into our case management system to ensure a smooth onboarding for new clients and tidy management of case files
• Perform miscellaneous clerical tasks as needed, including transcription, research, spreadsheet management, and email writing to ensure operational efficiency
• Help foster prospective client streams by providing input into awareness and law firm partnerships initiatives alongside the marketing team

• Provide administrative support for attorneys, and other staff during the Medicaid spend-down planning process
• Network with community health care partners and present at educational events
• Utilize Case Management Software to maintain case flow

• Possesses outstanding communication skills and sense of empathy
• High school diploma or GED is a requirement; Bachelor’s degree is a plus
• Previous legal experience highly valued
• Previous customer service or sales experience preferred
• Previous experience with CRM and case management software desired

• College Degree from accredited college/university preferred

• Available to work one evening per week as needed
