Dean of Sciences manages administrative functions of the college of science. Develops college strategic initiatives and participates in university long-term planning and policy setting. Being a Dean of Sciences leads college in fundraising and cultivating relationships with donors. Provides senior level administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Additionally, Dean of Sciences requires an advanced degree. Typically reports to top management. The Dean of Sciences manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Dean of Sciences typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.     Role Summary

    The Seasonal Laboratory Assistant performs laboratory support responsibilities in a fast-paced production environment; routine testing of food and environmental samples for qualitative and quantitative parameters.

    What You’ll Do

    • Perform analytical testing of feed, fertilizer, water and/or pesticide residue samples using laboratory techniques and standard operating procedures.
    • Perform and document routine laboratory maintenance tasks such basic equipment monitoring, waste disposal and cleaning (laboratory and labware).
    • Assist Lab Technicians in sample preparation and weighing of test items, as required.
    • Adhere to lab safety procedures and reporting standards.
    • Follow written Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions.
    • Other duties may be assigned to assist with the operations of the lab.
