The coordinator is responsible for the administration of all processes that ensure the successful academic completion for every undergraduate student in the College of Science. With the direction of the Associate and Assistant Deans, you will plan, coordinate, and implement the yearlong academic program cycle and assist individual undergraduate departments with this cycle. You will also create tools and track data related to undergraduate students' academic careers. It's important work that matters.The Coordinator will have the opportunity to work on a semester-based cyclical schedule with different departments, making for a new experience each semester and with each department.

Some of that job description stuff we have to include:
- Manage all facets of student, advisor, faculty and departmental inquiries and correspondence for the Office for Undergraduate Studies, including walk-ins, telephone, and email. Examples include routing eForms, verifying student absences,and sending notifications of student deficiencies, probation and dismissals to the appropriate contacts. Other offices interacted with include Registrar, Financial Aid, ND International, Center for Student Support and Care, and the Center for University Advising.
- Oversee record maintenance and class changes for undergraduate students' academic support, including registration, managing changes to maximum credit hours, including addition or change of transfer credits, advance registration for athletes, transfer and readmit students; this includes overloads, registration exceptions, changes to major advisors, contact information, and addresses; assigns approvers for eForms as appropriate.
- Provide administrative support to 2 associate deans and 1 assistant dean including scheduling and coordination of meetings, travel plans and reimbursements.
- Generate reports for the Registrar's office compliant with NCAA deadlines and FERPA restrictions.
- Assist with major events for the College of Science (Admitted Student Days, Welcome Weekends, Junior Parents' Weekend, Commencement, and others as needed).
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED, 5-6 years of administrative experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Sensitive to and empathetic with student needs.
Ability and willingness to learn new processes and systems.
Willingness to take initiative; ability to work with limited supervision
Solid critical reasoning and problem solving skills
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
Detail oriented
Google Workspace/Drive, Excel, Banner preferred.
Experience in higher education preferred but not necessary.
