Demand Planner - Nashville, TN - Paid Relocation

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Demand Planner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing supply chain processes, ensuring that inventory levels align with customer demand and production capabilities. This position requires a strong understanding of supply chain management principles, as well as proficiency in data analysis tools to forecast demand accurately.

Duties

• Analyze historical sales data and market trends to develop accurate demand forecasts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, production planning, and product management, to align inventory levels with customer needs.
• Utilize advanced analytical tools such as Power BI and SQL to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
• Monitor inventory levels and implement continuous improvement strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce excess inventory.
• Prepare reports on demand planning metrics and present findings to stakeholders for informed decision-making.
• Maintain effective communication with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Participate in regular meetings to review forecasts, discuss challenges, and adjust plans as necessary.
• Collecting data from internal and external sources on factors known to affect demand
• Gathering updates on vendors, distributors, sales, and other stakeholders that can affect demand
• Developing demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons
• Coordinating cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances
• Interacting with sales, marketing, and customer finance to understand demand forecast drivers
• Using and maintaining the demand planning software SAP

Skills:

• Intermediate to advanced excel,
• Strong data management skills ;
• PowerPoint
• Strong communications skills;
• Focus on accuracy; follows up to insure results

Experience;

• Manufacturing Experience
• Sales demand and production supply forecast data management; preferable in a IBP/SAP platform.
• Middle and senior management; sales and customer service; supply chain; finance team engagement.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
