Purpose: The Planner will completely own the inventory forecasting, allocation, and purchasing responsibilities across all channels that Peepers does business. This position will forecast inventory for new styles and create demand & supply plans for existing styles with the overall goal to continuously improve forecast accuracy. You will partner with the Sales and Finance team to create inventory plans from their respective forecasts. Responsibilities also include strategic inventory allocation across all channels and accounts as it relates to quantity and timing of inventory.

This position may be fully-or-partially remote, or based at our headquarters in Michigan City, Indiana

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead the company?s inventory planning process to accurately forecast expected future sales demand, improve forecast accuracy, and coordinate product lifecycles on a SKU and category level basis
• Coordinate with Sales and Merchandising teams to set launch quantities of new products.
• Generate demand forecasts at a SKU and model level, combining historical data, current inventory, and marketing/sales plans
• Oversee the creation of inventory supply plans that align with financial goals and open-to-buy constraints
• Report key assumptions and forecast methodology to the leadership team along with insights and recommendations
• Foster and maintain deep cross functional partnerships and provide meaningful analysis and insights regarding inventory performance and opportunities
• Leverage historical data to identify key learnings around product, pricing and inventory and apply learnings to future seasons
• Perform in-season item level forecasting and ad-hoc analysis to identify inventory-related risks and opportunities
