Additionally, Development Coordinator maintains confidentiality and complies with data privacy regulations and policies. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Development Coordinator work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role.      HunterMaclean is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Development Coordinator to join our team. Under the supervision of the Business Development Director, this position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with attorneys and partners to drive growth and enhance our firm's market presence and visibility. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the firm’s business development efforts and continued success.

    Duties:

    • Provide administrative support to the business development director, including managing expenses/check requests, scheduling meetings, organizing travel arrangements, and creating reports.
    • Assist in preparing reports, metrics, and analytics to track the effectiveness of business development initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
    • Assist with research on industry trends, market opportunities, and competitor activities to identify potential business development strategies.
    • Uphold brand standards across all marketing materials and communications. Assist in developing branding strategies to differentiate the firm and maintain a strong market presence.
    • Support the creation and dissemination of marketing materials, including website content, brochures, newsletters, and social media posts. ? 
    • Work with attorneys and other team members to align business development/marketing efforts with firm objectives and client needs.
    • Communicate initiatives effectively within the firm. 
    • Collaborate with attorneys to prepare proposals, presentations, and industry award submissions ensuring accuracy and alignment with the firm's brand messaging. 
    • Coordinate and occasionally attend networking events, conferences, and industry seminars to represent the firm and interact with potential clients and referral sources.  
    • Coordinate logistics for firm-sponsored events. 
    • Maintain inventory for branded merchandise to maintain adequate supplies.  
    • Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned by the Business Development Director or other senior leaders within the firm.  

    Requirements

    Required Skills:  

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships internally and externally. 
    • Excellent attention to detail. 
    • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 
    • Adept in Social Media. 
    • Skilled in graphic design. 
    • Must be able to lift anything over 25 pounds.
    • Must be able to navigate stairs, ramps, uneven terrain.
    • Ability to work as a team player. 
    • Proven ability to make informed decisions and creatively solve problems.  

     Qualifications: 

    •  Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field. 
    • 2 years of experience in business development or marketing, preferably in the legal or professional services industry. 
    • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and WordPress.  
    • Attention to detail and a proactive mindset towards problem-solving and project management.
