Job Summary:
The Educator is responsible for setting newly hired collections associates up for success in their roles. This individual will provide instruction and coaching to associates in order to meet company expectations. The Educator is responsible for developing and administrating training curriculums for all collections associates. In addition, they will serve as brand ambassador for the company and model the company values.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop educational materials, such as digital presentations, how-to manuals, and instructional videos.
• Prepare ongoing education procedures and training material.
• Schedule and conduct training sessions on various call center topics to prepare and support new employees.
• Train experienced employees on new or updated call center procedures to improve their performance.
• Observe the daily operations of call center employees and identify any areas of improvement.
• Liaison with managers to conduct on-the-job coaching.
• Measure the effectiveness of training sessions and prepare individual or team progress reports.
• Regular attendance and timeliness are required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience and Education:
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• Bachelor’s degree in education or business management is preferred.
• 2 years’ experience working as an educator and/or trainer.
• 3 years’ call center experience.
• A thorough understanding of Federal and State laws related to the collection industry, including but not limited to the Fair Debt Collections and Practices Act (FDCPA) is preferred.
• Understanding collection/recovery activities is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint
Physical Requirements:
• Lifts, carries or moves up to 20 pounds occasionally.
• Work an adjusted work schedule, as required.
• Occasional travel as necessary
