    Location: Columbia, Missouri
    Shift: Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 4:30pm, every other weekend

    Salary Range: $14.80 to $23.32 per hour based on experience

    Responsibilities:

    1. Communicate with medical and nursing departments to optimize nutrition care and ensure the quality and delivery of food.
    2. Counsel patients and their families on prescribed diets.
    3. Monitor and evaluate the outcomes of nutrition services and interventions, responding to patient nutritional care inquiries or referring them to the clinical dietitian as necessary.
    4. Conduct regular patient rounds to assess nutrition intake adequacy and patient satisfaction with meals and meal service.
    5. Rescreen patients who were not initially identified as being at risk for malnutrition upon admission but have a length of stay greater than 5 days, to ensure all at-risk patients receive appropriate assessment by a dietitian.
    6. Modify menu selections for patients at the Missouri Psychiatric Center (MUPC) in compliance with diet orders and dietitian instructions.
    7. Perform unit/department-specific duties and meet expectations as outlined in departmental documents.
    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:

    1. Bachelor's degree in nutrition or dietetics, or admission in a coordinated or didactic dietetic program, or Dietetic Technician, Registered (DTR) certification by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).

    2. Additional license or certification requirements as determined by the hiring department are preferred.
