Dietitian Supervisor supervises staff that plans, prepares, and delivers meals to patients. Consults and coordinates with nutritionists to ensure all menus comply with general dietetic standards and fulfill prescribed patients nutritional and therapeutic requirements. Being a Dietitian Supervisor oversees all food service operations. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Dietitian Supervisor typically reports to a manager. Requires Certified Dietary Manager(CDM). The Dietitian Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision. BASIC FUNCTION: The Clinical Dietitian at Grand River Hospital District provides nutrition services and medical nutrition therapy integrated with patients’ medical goals. Evaluates, interprets, monitors and documents the nutritional status and nutritional needs of hospitalized patients, outpatients and residents at our long-term care center using the established Nutrition Care Process, standards of care and practice guidelines.

Additional $2.00 - $4.00 an hour for additional weekend and night shifts
