Digital Marketing Director develops and implements the digital marketing strategy and leads tactical operations to increase product demand, enhance sales, identify additional sales channels, attract traffic to the company website, and promote an online presence. Utilizes search engine optimization (SEO) analytics and search engine marketing (SEM) techniques to increase traffic to the website. Being a Digital Marketing Director leads the development, curation, and deployment of compelling content to attract, engage and retain visitors and promote sales. Employs social media, email, and mobile marketing campaigns. Additionally, Digital Marketing Director reviews online statistics, marketplace trends, and best practices to optimize online marketing performance. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Digital Marketing Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. The ideal candidate is smart, ambitious, and analytical. The Digital Marketing Specialist will create, manage, and optimize our client’s paid advertising campaigns. This candidate should be autonomous, organized, proactive, articulate, and collaborative, as well as being a highly effective problem solver.

    This position has a half-time work from home policy in place, in order to give employees flexibility in their schedule and provide a better work/life balance.

    Job Duties & Responsibilities

    • Develop, execute and manage advertising campaigns using various digital advertising platforms including, but not limited to: Google Ads, Google Doubleclick, Bing Ads, Facebook Business Manager, LinkedIn Ads, Pinterest Ads, Snapchat Ads for business, Geo-fencing, and other DSPs
    • Collaborate with client-facing teams on research, campaign creation, and optimization efforts
    • Be present on client calls where technical expertise may be necessary
    • Ensure proper tracking and attribution using Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Facebook Pixels, etc.
    • Monitor and report performance of campaigns, along with providing recommendations for improvements
    • Translate strategic recommendations concerning digital experiences into actionable items
    • Effectively manage budgets throughout the month
    • Demonstrate an unparalleled enthusiasm and passion through continuously improving skills and staying abreast of industry and relevant news​

    Requirements Qualifications

    • A minimum of 3 years of experience in creating and managing paid search, display, and social campaigns
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work independently as well as with a team
    • Experience with Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Facebook Pixel management
    • Problem-solving skills; ability to adapt to new technologies
    • The desire to research and test new opportunities within the growing search marketplace
    • Able to multi-task and prioritize—must work well under pressure.
    • Knowledge of integrated digital media campaign planning and execution
    • Demonstrated grasp of leveraging KPIs to interpret results and make data-based decisions
