    Job Description

    As a Senior Product Marketing Manager at Western Digital you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our SanDisk consumer products in the market. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive product and category marketing strategies that differentiate our offerings and drive customer engagement. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, adept at market analysis, and possesses a deep understanding of how to position products effectively. 

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

     Market Analysis and Strategy: 

    • Conduct an in-depth market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape. 
    • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer needs, pain points, and preferences. 
    • Utilize market insights to inform product positioning and go-to-market strategies. 

     Product Positioning and Messaging: 

    • Craft compelling and differentiated product positioning and core messaging strategies that resonates  with target audiences. 
    • Create impactful marketing strategies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging across all customer touchpoints. 
    • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the unique value propositions of our products. 

     Sales Enablement: 

    • Work closely with the regional interlock team to provide training on product features, benefits, and competitive positioning. 
    • Support the development of sales tools and resources to enable the sales team in their efforts. 
    • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of sales enablement materials.  

      Cross-Functional Collaboration: 

    • Collaborate with product management, regional interlock, PR, and other teams to ensure alignment on product strategy and messaging. 
    • Work closely with the marketing team to integrate product messaging strategies into broader marketing campaigns. 

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED:

    • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
    • 7 years of experience in product marketing, with a focus on consumer electronics, or similar.
    • Proven track record of developing and executing successful product marketing strategies.

    SKILLS:

    • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
