Distance Learning and Education Director jobs in Fort Myers, FL

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of corporate accounting and financial reporting
- Manage and supervise a team of accountants
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of financial statements and reports
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures
- Conduct cash flow analysis and provide recommendations for improvement
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Provide guidance and mentorship to staff in the areas of accounting principles and practices
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- Proven experience in corporate accounting or public accounting
- Strong knowledge of debits, credits, and general ledger reconciliation
- Familiarity with private equity accounting principles is a plus
- Proficiency in using accounting software such as Xero or similar platforms
- Experience with tax planning and compliance
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and leadership abilities

As the Director of Accounting, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations of our organization.
