Position Summary

Design, develop, and direct the implementation of the long-range Supply Chain Operations strategic and financial

planning and translate into annual and multi-year plans for the network impacting 8 regional Distribution Campuses

and 1,100 Retail locations with a combined $1 Billion in operating expense, $60 Million in Capital and over 5,000

employees

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead the overall planning for regional operating plan to include implementation of criticial priorities, new technology, warehouse automation, and other cost and operating efficiencies opportunites.
• Responsible for the development and implementation of all operational planning processes as part of the broader S&OP/S&OE/Control Tower programs.
• Oversee planning of critical projects and initiatives for ADUSA Distribution and Transportation network.
• Ensure that regional/functional plan aligns to overall network plan and Supply Chain critical priorities.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners (Suppliers, Category, Retail Operations, Logistics) to implement strategies and tactics to reduce total landed cost, while developing a more consumer driven network.
• Responsible for the development and administration of the D&T business continuity plan.
• Partner to develop and implement continuous improvement plans/initiatives throughout the Distribution and Transportion network and validate the costs/benefits of recommendations considering budget, organizational impact and financial reward, and synthesize and articulate key findings as appropriate for stakeholders.
• Provide business analysis and information across the network to highlight key challenges and opportunities for organizational leaders to use in their decision-making
• Act in partnership with VP of operations to identify and create visibility to goals, KPIs, costs, business drivers, and industry opportunities across entire supply chain.
• Partner in the establishment and delivery of financial, productivity, efficiency, continuous improvement, service , and people targets.
• Facilitates Distribution and Transportation planning, business process improvement and efficiencies conversations at all levels throughout the organization.

Knowledge

• Extensive detailed knowledge of end to end grocery suply chain
• Advanced project management experience
• Detailed understanding of curent ADUSA suply chain strategy
• Detailed understanding of ADUSA Retail Brands and market strategy
• Advanced finacial and KPI experience

Skills

• High proficieny in financial and budget planning
• Strong understanding of volume and capacity planning
• Expert in project management with a focus on Lean/six sigma and formal PM strategies
• Strong comunication and negotiation experience

Abilities

• Able to manage execution across a wide variety of subject matter experts and senior ADUSA leadership
• Ability to build long term financial and performance plans in support of overall ADUSA goals
• Ability to manage a variety of priorities across multiple timelines with a consistent performance to deadlines

Education

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and related work experience

Experience

• 6-8 years Grocery Supply Chain experience
• Preferred senior level project management experience
