CONCOA, a worldwide leader in the manufacture of gas pressure controls, seeks a talented CAD Draftsman to join our Design Engineering Team.

Job Summary:

The Engineering CAD Assistant performs a dual support role in the Engineering department through developing detailed CAD drawings from rough/detailed sketches and controlling & tracking documents following ISO 9000 and FDA-GMP procedures.

Essential Job Duties:

• Create and/or modify CAD files to document various drawing and/or process changes.
• Responsible for the Administration of the Engineering Change Process.
• Process Engineering Change Orders (ECO’s) and Engineering Change Requests (ECR’s).
• Distribute assigned ECR’s to appropriate engineers.
• Copy and distribute Engineering Change Notices (ECN’s).
• Maintain electronic and paper drawing files system.
• Create CAD drawing for new fixture and tooling.
• Modify plant layout drawings.
• Maintain Equipment/Tooling management software.
• Create and maintain Engineering data bases.
• Prepare periodic charts for key metrics.
• Ensure orderly processing and control of engineering documents.
• Track and manage project schedules.

Education and Experience:

• Associates Degree in Computer Aided Drafting (CAD), drafting or related field, plus 2 years of related work experience; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
• Software experience in AutoCAD and 3D Modeling such as SolidWorks
• Understanding and practice of GD&T
• Proficiency in computers, Windows based spreadsheets, database, and word processing software
• Experience in managing multiple tasks and projects

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard and reach, stoop kneel to open filing cabinets and stand as necessary.

Work Environment:

This position operates in a professional work environment. The role functions in moderate office noise with routine use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filling cabinets and fax machines.
