Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our organization. This is a leadership role that requires strong strategic planning, process improvement, and sales skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing teams and driving business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational processes
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including government bodies, industry associations, operational teams, and C-level executives like chief operating officers and chief executive officers or in the current company status, the owners in order to drive business development initiatives.
- Oversee project management activities and ensure timely completion of services
- Provide leadership and guidance to team members, fostering a positive work environment
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback for professional development
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
-Manage and monitor project budgets and finances
-Emergency response information gathering, response assessment, response and flagging teams and equipment mobilization and demobilization
-Non emergency response services scheduling
-Direct emergency response communication with clients, enforcement agents/agencies, insurance companies, claims adjusters, attorneys, and stakeholders such as cities, counties, water, sewer, and electric, landfills, ODOT, OSP, EPA, DEQ, and tribal organizations, etc.
-Manage permitting, locating, disposal estimating, contractor vetting and coordination of excavation sites
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in operations management, preferably in a similar industry
- Strong knowledge of profit loss analysis and financial management principles
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute business plans
