The ITS Driver Recruiter and Industrial Relations Representative is responsible for the administration and performance of the Industrial Relations program in the following areas:  Driver Recruiting, Policies and Procedures, Safety, Personnel Requirements, Staffing and Training. Extensive travel will be required.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Recruitment and interviewing for potential new employees
2. Pre-employment drug testing, physicals, and background
3. New employee orientation
4. Works with IR Department to ensure compliance with DOT, labor laws/EEOC/company policy.
5. Unemployment claims
6. Conducts and/or assist in employee training.
7. Enforce company policies and procedures.
8. Communicate company benefits and assist employees with questions.
9. Conduct employee meetings on a one-on-one basis periodically.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Must have good written and verbal communications skills.
2. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
3. Must have a thorough knowledge of WSI/ITS policies and procedures.
4. Forklift certified or able to obtain certification.
5. Must be able to lift 55 lbs.
6. Must be prepared to travel extensively.
