Travel Echocardiograph Technician / Belmont, NC

Shift: 10 hours shift / 40 hours per week

Pay rate: $1,720/week $1,162 Stipends

13 weeks contract - Inpatient/Outpatient setting

Job description

Performs the duties involved in operating echocardiograph equipment to perform various cardiac ultrasound studies including two-dimensional images, M-Modes, cardiac doppler and color flow doppler and assisting with transesophageal echocardiogram (TEEs)

Responsibilities:

• Perform echo tests/stress echo tests
• Print echo schedules
• Answer patient questions regarding testing
• Create phone notes in the electronic medical record system and send them to providers
• Determines appropriate methodology and techniques to use
• Prepares facilities following procedural requirements
• Monitors the patient’s physical condition during the procedure
• Troubleshoot equipment and document errors or equipment malfunctions

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited sonography institution
• 1 years of experience as an Echo Tech
• ARDMS or CCI certification
• RDCS or RCS
• BLS

Job Types: Travel healthcare, Contract

Pay: $43.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
