Echocardiograph Technician performs echocardiograms in accordance with established practices and procedures. Provides preliminary diagnostic evaluation and notifies cardiologists of results of examinations. Being an Echocardiograph Technician consults with cardiologist to establish requirements for non-standard examinations and determines technical factors to satisfy requirements. Requires an associate degree, and passing the Echocardiography Registry Exam. Additionally, Echocardiograph Technician typically reports to a manager. Echocardiograph Technician's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement. (Copyright 2024 Salary.com)

s responsibilities are as follows; Service and some installation of conduit, wire, and devices for various low voltage systems, mainly focusing on fire alarm, access control and video surveillance
Responsibilities :
The Service Technician is responsible for customer coordination in the field and repair of all systems and customer training.
They shall work with the Service Coordinator and Service Manager to help schedule onsite resources, and ensure equipment and materials are correct and onsite when needed.
Qualifications :
- 5 years minimum of demonstrated work history / knowledge as a service technician is required. NICET certification in Fire Alarm Systems is preferred, but not required.
- Understanding NEC and NFPA current requirements is essential.
- Experienced in troubleshooting panels, devices, and program various systems including, but not limited to, Edwards Fire Alarm Systems, Lenel, Open Options, DSX, Milestone, Salient, and DMP to name a few.
They shall perform onsite review of previous repairs and quality control.
