EDP Auditor evaluates data processing systems and operating procedures in accordance with established corporate standards for efficiency, accuracy, and security. Determines and recommends improvements in current standards and the implementation of system changes. Being an EDP Auditor provides management with results of audits on applications, systems and programs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, EDP Auditor typically reports to a manager. The EDP Auditor gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Responsible for daily audits of records for assigned revenue generating departments to determine compliance with gaming regulations and company and departmental policies and procedures.

Education
High school diploma or GED.
AA degree in Accounting preferred.
Experience
Two years Accounting/Bookkeeping experience with exposure to a broad range of financial activities required.
Computer Skills
Microsoft Office intermediate level in Microsoft Excel; intermediate level in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
Critical thinking and analytical skills required.
Must pass an Excel skills test and Accounting competency test.
Certificates & Licenses
Must obtain a Siletz Tribal Gaming License.

Work Environment
Work will take place in an office environment with occasional exposure to a busy resort and gaming environment with multiple distractions. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate. Occasionally the work environment will be in locations exposed to smoke.
Working Conditions
Conditions of employment include passing a pre-employment drug screen, a background investigation, and completing a 180-day introductory period.
