    Guest Experience Representative

    Job Description

    The Guest Experience Representative is the first and last person that guests see upon arrival and departure. They set the tone of the visit for all museum visitors from the second they walk in the door. They inform guests of activities happening in the museum and upcoming events that the museum is hosting or participating in. They must maintain a clean and organized environment around the museum and in staff only areas.

    Job Responsibilities

    The following list includes the responsibilities of the Guest Experience Representative:

    • Welcome museum visitors, guests, volunteers, and general public.
    • Answer questions regarding organizational history, programs, exhibits, community partnerships.
    • Receive and book reservations: field trips, event room rentals, and fee based programs.
    • Collect and process payments for entry tickets, memberships, donations, merchandise and birthday parties as requested by patrons.
    • Provide efficient and professional customer service, being courteous, polite, and helpful at all times when representing the CCM.
    • Maintain a high level of safety and positive customer experience within the museum.
    • Process family and organizational memberships.
    • Answer inquiries regarding educational and fee based programs.
    • Interact with children and families to maximize their learning and enjoyment in the museum.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned.
