Inrush is a leading provider of Electrical engineering services. We are a strong and dedicated group of professionals with diverse skills and experience in substations ranging from 35KV to 765KV.
Job Responsibilities and Expectations:
Provides the reliability and performance of the electrical distribution system by inspecting/testing/maintaining electrical equipment and devices, analyzing/determining the presence of adverse conditions, documenting / reporting test results, and taking appropriate corrective actions.
· Instrument transformer tests – CCVT, CT, and SSVT testing.
· Surge Arrester power factor testing.
· Testing capacitor bank or power-factor correction systems
· Power transformer testing - Doble, TTR, Insulation Resistance, etc.
· Confirming circuitry via voltage checks, point-to-point, and secondary injection.
· High voltage breaker testing: timing, travel, and functional testing
· Switchgear functionals – print reading, commissioning, and troubleshooting
· ATS Testing – ensuring proper operation from normal to emergency power.
· Printing reading and troubleshooting
· Rotate emergency on-call duty and, if called, respond to customer emergencies promptly.
· Willing to travel for work. Working throughout North America, traveling 50 percent of the time.
Minimum Qualifications: to qualify for consideration, you meet the following minimum qualifications and requirements.
· Must work safely and adhere to all electrical safety core principles/procedures.
· High school diploma or GED required
· Prefer a bachelor's in Electrical Engineering OR an Associate’s degree/technologist diploma from an accredited two-year technical college OR similar experience and training from the military.
· Must have at least 1 or more years of relevant experience
· Must have general PC skills, including email, internet, data entry, and Microsoft Excel
· NETA II, III, or IV Certification
· Prefer OSHA 30-hour, MSHA, NFPA 70-E, CPR/First Aid/BBP/AED training
Other Requirements:
· Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and periodic, unannounced random drug tests.
· Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check.

· Must be able to crawl, climb, and lift 75 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
