Electrical Powerline Installer/Repairer jobs in New Suffolk, NY
Electrical Powerline Installer/Repairer installs, repairs, and maintains powerline equipment. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Being an Electrical Powerline Installer/Repairer may be required to be certified in an area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Electrical Powerline Installer/Repairer relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. Work load/Contracted projects –
Our shop does not have a 'slow' season. We have various residential developments and commercial projects on schedule with steady work taking our teams through and into 2025. All work located in Nassau & Suffolk counties.
Electricians and junior mechanics can work plenty of overtime. We bid projects every week guaranteeing work for our team.
Job Responsibilities -
- Planning/Organizing and directing residential and commercial projects (New and renovations).
- Interpret specifications/drawings, layout projects.
- Scheduling/organize/manage field labor.
- Attend job meetings.
- Collaborate with other trades.
- Review and update scheduling/RFI’s/Change orders.
- Pricing and ordering materials.
- Keeping daily logs of projects.
- Monday – Friday 7:00 – 3:30.
