EMT/Paramedic Supervisor jobs in Milford, DE
EMT/Paramedic Supervisor supervises emergency medical staff consisting of EMTs, paramedics, and drivers. Administers the staff work schedule to ensure adequate coverage. Being an EMT/Paramedic Supervisor coordinates required training and development activities. Maintains activity logs and prepares required reports. Additionally, EMT/Paramedic Supervisor may require registry in NREMT. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Requires Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). Requires Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) - Basic. Typically reports to a manager. The EMT/Paramedic Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be an EMT/Paramedic Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Earn $17.96 / hour.
Position Details
Provide day to day functional guidance to the residential counselors at the site; ensure that there is adequate staffing, support / supervision at the home at all times, within budget guidelines.
Communicate with nursing support to ensure safety and emergency procedures including medication protocols and health supports.
Perform chart audits as required.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications :
- High School Diploma required.
- One year of Mental Health Experience required.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Demonstrates good judgment in assessing and managing situations, appropriately utilizing available support, and seeking additional support when necessary.
