Our first two projects are in Colorado Springs and Fountain, Colorado.

About this Position

We are looking for a full-time Outside Sales Representative to act as a door to door sales rep, field organizer and events aid to join the Underline El Paso team. Focus will be on building the Underline brand in Colorado Springs and Fountain, and educating and converting potential residential customers. This position works with and reports directly to the local Director of Community Engagement to execute in-market campaigns, activations, events and assorted programs. Our approach to marketing and community engagement is grounded in grassroots, campaign-style tactics, so this position plays a critical role in the execution of this strategy.

What You'll Do

• This position will primarily be door to door sales and neighborhood events.
• Master our brand and project messaging and serve as a public-facing representative of the network.
• Help Colorado Springs and Fountain residents understand the value of Underline by executing a programmatic approach to grassroots marketing.
• Ensure community partners and project Champions are armed with appropriate marketing materials as needed
• Assist with local Colorado Springs and Fountain community and neighborhood research
• Support the team to reach company residential client acquisition goals through distributing information about the networks, door-to-door canvassing, answering questions and assisting residents to sign up through tablings, events and other in-person events such as block parties, festivals and neighborhood meetings
• Meet or exceed monthly sales quotas
• Assist with lead generation and follow through
• Engage in local organizational partnerships and community service to better advance the mission and goals of Underline

Experience we’re looking for

• Contagious passion for community engagement, local campaigning, and/or grassroots marketing
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on influencing others
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and handle a variety of responsibilities at once
• Strong problem-solving and organization skills
• Disciplined and self starter

Bonus points

• You have a background in sales
• You are fluent in Spanish (written and/or spoken)
• You have a strong network of relationships in Colorado Springs and/or Fountain. These can be in the realm of neighborhood connections, organizational involvement (for profit, nonprofit, civic, etc) and business relationships.
• You have created consumer-facing marketing content and materials, and have helped run customer-facing campaign
• You have experience working on civic and/or mission-based projects for communities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 per year
